Definitions

Application

Application means any distinct and individually named call of our Services’ scanning functionality, wherein each such call is assigned a unique identifier or name by an Individual for the purpose of tracking, reporting, or managing the results of a scan. Each uniquely identified scan call constitutes a separate and distinct Application, regardless of the underlying parameters or data being scanned. An Application can be a source code repository, a code file, a configuration file, a container image, or a cloud asset upon which a scan is called.

Contributing Developer

Contributing Developer means an Individual who has, within the last ninety (90) days, created or modified content, code, configurations, or artifacts using our Services or analyzed by our Services. For example, each Individual that commits to a repository that we scan shall count as a Contributing Developer. If an Individual contributes to multiple repositories that we scan, that Individual shall only count as one (1) Contributing Developer.

Individual

Individual means a unique person or entity within an organization, identified by a unique username. An Individual may be human or non-human (such as a software agent, a bot, or an automated process).

User

User means an Individual who is permitted to access our Services.
